Original Christo and Jeanne-Claude Exhibition Poster from show in London

This poster celebrates the Exhibition of the work of Christo and Jeanne-Claude at the Serpentine Gallery. Christo (born 1935 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria) and his late wife Jeanne-Claude (born 1935 in Casablanca, Morocco, died 2009, New York City, USA) are renowned for their large-scale environmental projects and temporary sculptures at sites around the world. Their first artistic collaboration was in 1961, where they created Stacked Oil Barrels and Dockside Packages at Cologne Harbour; an installation that remained for two weeks.

Many years in the planning, Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s outdoor projects generate an extensive archive of preparatory material detailing the organisation and execution of these projects, and those not yet realised. The Serpentine has worked closely with Christo to develop this new exhibition of sculptures, drawings, collages, scale-models and photographs, which spans six decades.

Due to the unique and collectible nature of these pieces, all sales are considered final. Returns may only be accepted within 7 days of delivery in exceptional cases and must be approved in advance. Items must be returned in their original condition and packaging, with no signs of handling or damage. Buyers are responsible for return shipping and insurance. Any item not returned in its original condition may not be eligible for a refund.
