Richard Estes is widely recognized as one of the founders of the Photorealism movement, known for his extraordinarily detailed paintings of urban storefronts, reflective windows, and everyday city scenes. “Nedick’s” captures a classic New York fast-food stand with crisp reflections, signage, and architectural geometry rendered with photographic precision. The image perfectly demonstrates Estes’ fascination with reflections and the layered visual complexity of modern city life. The bright Coca-Cola signage, diner counter graphics, and stainless steel surfaces give the artwork a nostalgic yet modern atmosphere, making it especially popular for contemporary interiors and collectors of urban art. Because of its large vertical format and bold graphic elements, this poster works beautifully as a statement piece in kitchens, dining areas, studios, lofts, and modern living spaces. Museum posters like this have become increasingly collectible as decorative objects that bring iconic artworks into everyday environments. ⸻ Poster Details Artist: Richard Estes Artwork: Nedick’s, 1970 Movement: Photorealism Museum credit: Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza (Madrid) Poster type: Museum reproduction poster Approximate size: 32 × 26 inches ⸻ Condition Vintage poster in good condition.
