Richard Estes is widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Photorealism, a movement that emerged in the late 1960s and focused on creating paintings with extraordinary photographic precision. His works often depict urban storefronts, reflective windows, and complex city scenes filled with layered reflections. “People’s Flowers” captures a New York street scene with remarkable clarity. The storefront window reflects buildings, cars, and street life while plants spill out onto the sidewalk, creating a dense composition full of reflections and urban atmosphere. This poster reproduces the painting with vivid detail, showcasing Estes’ mastery of light, reflections, and architectural geometry. Because of its large vertical format, this piece works beautifully as a statement artwork in modern interiors, living rooms, studios, and gallery walls. Museum posters like this have become increasingly collectible as decorative objects and as accessible ways to bring iconic artworks into contemporary spaces. ⸻ Poster Details Artist: Richard Estes Artwork: People’s Flowers, 1971 Movement: Photorealism Museum credit: Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum Poster type: Museum reproduction poster Approximate size: 38 × 23 inches Large vertical format. ⸻ Condition Vintage poster in good condition.
